We believe the character of a business is how they overcome adversity. Maxey's Cycle has been going strong since 1962, through the good times and the bad times. Jim Maxey opened Maxey's Cycle selling Yamaha motorcycles in 1962. The largest bike sold at this time was 80cc. In 1965 Maxeys took on Honda Motorcycles and opened up a second location in Oklahoma City. Summer of 1972 Maxey's Cycle picked up Polaris. Jim Maxey continued operated Maxey's until handing it over in 1995 to his son Dan Maxey. In 1998 Maxeys added Victory Motorcycles to the line-up. A decade later in 2008, the third generation Tony Maxey became GM. Over all these years many things have changed, but the one thing passed down from generation to generation is customer service. As of 2011 we sell Honda, Polaris, Yamaha, Victory, Hyosung, Schwinn and Genuine Scooters. We offer a large selection of Motorcycles, Atv's, Scooters and Utility Vehicles. We have a knowledgeable staff and our technicians are factory trained. We still have customers that purchased bikes back in 1962. Come be part of the Maxeys tradition!
