Golf carts enhance your time on the course, but do you know all the rules of etiquette? We've gathered up a range of tips and strategies for a successful and respectful time out on the green below. The 90-degree Rule

This rule of thumb relates to how to best approach your golf ball on the course. Identify the spot on the cart path that is closest to your ball. Then drive out from it at a 90-degree angle. The goal here is to be on the delicate grass as little time as possible.

Cart Path Only

Sometimes courses institute a "cart path only" restriction for the day. This one is exactly as it sounds: you have to keep your golf cart on the path and cannot drive on the grass. If you aren't sure what the course's policy is, you can ask when you first check in.

Be Aware of Signs

As you go throughout the course, you may notice a range of signs. These provide relevant information and should be listened to! They tend to cover information such as where you can and cannot drive your golf cart. If you ever don't understand what a sign means, simply find a staff member and ask.
